LOCATION: LAKE TAHOE SEPTEMBER 2, 2017
If you search for pictures of Lake Tahoe, you’ll undoubtedly come across images of Emerald Bay, a beautiful state park with green water, green mountains, some famous ski resorts and hundreds and hundreds of adventurers. I knew it would be very beautiful so I decided to make our way to the park as soon as we arrived the first day. Our plan of visiting the park first was wise because it gives a great overview of what we are expecting in the rest of the trip. Emerald Bay is a popular state park, with the holiday, which can fill the streets with even more cars when the small parking area is filled. Regardless, we were able to find a few parking spots and have leisurely Saturday afternoon exploring around.
Our highlight was hotpot at the big Airbnb house. It had a dear head right above the dining table, so naturally we fell in love with this luxury house. We started to cook hotpot with sliced lamb, beef, luncheon meat, and vegetables, while we sat around the table. After a nice dinner, we sit on the balcony to enjoy the great view and crisp night air. We found a water activity spot, so we booked our next day with SUPs and kayaking.
